The institute offers three Postgraduate Diploma courses, Professional certificate courses and also organizes several workshops for students. CMI Kolkata uses a pan connectivity approach by offering marketing courses online. There are also short-term courses such as confidence courses and expression courses offered for the overall growth of the student. 

To take admission in PGDMM or postgraduation in marketing and management, students need to have eligibility criteria laid down by fulfilled. 

? PGDMM Specialization in Digital Marketing & Social Media: 

The entrance exam is not required for students with an aggregate of 50% in 10+2+3 in any discipline. 

? PGDMM Specialization in Broadcast Management: 

The entrance exam is not required for students with an aggregate of 50% in 10+2+3 in any discipline. Graduation certificates in Mass Communications and Media Science are preferred. 

? PGDMM Specialization in Integrated Marketing Communications Management: 

The entrance exam is not required for students with an aggregate of 50% in 10+2+3 in any discipline. A graduation certificate with the Mass Communications and Media Science or BBA is preferred.

Candidates can visit the website and apply online, or else they can visit the Calcutta Media Institute Kolkata campus to collect the admission form and initiate the admission procedure. Once the application is accepted, candidates will be called to campus for group discussions and personal interviews. Based on the candidate's performance, the college will evaluate the eligibility of the candidate.

Candidates do not have to appear for any entrance exam for taking admissions at the Calcutta Media Institute Kolkata. Candidates must have their 10+2+3 certificates from the UGC-approved universities for admission to the Postgraduate courses. Similarly, only a 10+2 certificate is required to participate in the workshops or the certificate courses at CMI Kolkata.

Calcutta Media Institute Kolkata Curriculum

The curriculum for the postgraduate course is for a period of one year. For each year, students will have two semesters. The first semester will consist of the theory and the on-campus exercise, whereas the second semester will be an internship. This is to ensure that the students get both theoretical knowledge of the field as well as its practicalities of it before they actually join the workforce. 

Along with the postgraduation course, students will also be trained in Google AdWords and Google Analytics. Students can appear for the test separately for the certificate.

? Scriptwriting Workshop: 

Any students with knowledge about the Bengali culture can join the scriptwriting workshop. The whole workshop is for 21 days.
